Bus Passes

RAM House believes transportation is a problem for homeless people. When people have to travel great distances to get between not only overnight shelters to day shelters but also to get medical care and other social services care, they are too exhausted to follow through. Recently Second Presbyterian Church raised over $5,000 to provide bus passes for individuals to get to different places so that they can become stabilized and ready for housing. This winter, RAM is working on taking people off the streets during the day so they can get better and be housed. This is good for our downtown and is good for neighboring communities. Second Presbyterian Church has stepped in to meet this vital need and we are so grateful to have them on our team!
